Donald Trump Will Not See The End Of His Mandate

With a few days left before Trump takes office, experts claim that he’s likely to be impeached within two years. Whether you like him or not, he’s the 45th president of the United States, and he’ll get an enormous amount of power handed to him. The main concern is – How is he going to use the power handed to him?

The reasons for this prediction

Well, one of the main reasons why people believe he won’t last past two years is his controversial past and his attitude. The numerous scandals that marked his campaign have made him a liability and an embarrassment for the Republican Party which directly affects his vulnerability to impeachment within the first two years of his service.

The most recent controversial document was published by Buzzfeed, and it contains evidence of Trump’s alleged treason with Russia, among other things. However, Mr. Trump denied these accusations calling them “fake news.”

Professor Angelia Wilson said –

I think it is highly likely that he will be impeached in the first 12 to 18 months. Whether it will be about the Russia dossier or other scandals that are undoubtedly there, he has become a liability for the Republican party. At some point, they will need to distance themselves from him in order to solidify reelection for the House.

In her opinion, it’s hardly unlikely that the military leaders suddenly become friendly with Russia, and vice versa. They are going to monitor his attempts to befriend Vladimir Putin. A major plot twist would be if Mr. Putin does have controversial evidence against Donald Trump. That would give him an enormous amount of blackmailing power over the 45th president of the United States.

On the other hand, some experts disagree with Mrs. Angelia Wilson. In their opinion, the Republican Party will do whatever is in their power to give Trump a chance. The reason for their unconditional support is mainly due to the potential consequences for a political party after evicting their candidate.

Terrence Casey, a political science professor, said –

“He will be president for four years, period. Unless he decides to go away or is impeached, then you can’t get rid of him.”

After all these speculations, we’re left to see how the situation is going to develop in the future. Hopefully, it’s going to be in the interest of the whole humanity.
